Sowing The Seeds of Spinach
Year three of the Liberty Community Garden begins for me. This morning I planted spinach seeds on my plot. It was a chilly Catskills morning, but spinach is supposed to be hearty. Do I have a green thumb? I’ll know in thirty eight days when the spinach reaches full maturity.
