Second Annual Jalapeno Eating Contest in Delhi
O’Neill’s Shire Pub is calling out to all those that like jalapeno peppers! The Second Annual Jalapeno Eating Contest takes place on May 5th in celebration of Cinco De Mayo at 8pm. Winners of the men’s and women’s categories will receive a $100, a sombrero and the very prestigious title for one year. The reigning champs from last year are Chris Payne eating 15 jalapenos and Michelle Jetter eating 8 jalapenos. Those that wish to enter in advance visit the Shire for the rules and registration form. Serving delicious Mexican specials and margaritas all week long May 1st to May 7th!
